Swift Traffic School offers an 8-hour course (DMV approved) that consists of classroom instruction. A person who has received a one point ticket may remove the
point by attending traffic school if they

• paid the bail amount on the ticket plus the additional fee for registration to the court for traffic school

• have not attended traffic school for a ticket received within the last 18 months

Out of State Violations

Regarding tickets received outside of California, you must verify with the state you received the ticket from if they accept completion from California traffic schools.
